Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) has announced the launch of this year’s Celebrating Rushcliffe Awards and is once again asking residents and groups in the borough to acknowledge unsung community, sporting, business and health heroes.
Nominations are open until Sunday 15th October across 10 categories, including the Pride of Rushcliffe Award.
The Awards recognise the wonderful volunteers, businesses, clubs, organisations, environmentalists, health and wellbeing providers, food and drink outlets, sports clubs and athletes that our borough has – and we need your help in putting forward those whom you know in our community who are worthy of being acknowledged for their efforts.
Last year, two Ruddington organisations were shortlisted: the Friends of Rushcliffe Country Park for the Environmental Project or Group Award, and Ruddington Pantry in the Health & Wellbeing category. We’d love to see our village represented again in 2023, so please get nominating!
To submit an online nomination, please visit www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/CRAs2023. Or, if you wish to discuss a nomination and have it submitted on your behalf, you can call RBC on 0115 914 8555, Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm. Nominations close on Sunday 15th October.
Please include as much information as possible to maximise the chances of your chosen nominee being shortlisted for an award and their contribution to the borough being fully recognised.
The winners will be announced and celebrated in a ceremony at Rushcliffe Arena later this year, in conjunction with RBC’s media partner, West Bridgford Wire.
