Thank you to everyone who this summer took part in Nottinghamshire County Council’s Big Notts Survey. Over 12,000 residents responded, which made it NCC’s largest ever public engagement.
Every response has been valuable and helped inform the new Nottinghamshire Plan 2021-2031. This sets out a nine point plan for a 10 year vision to make Nottinghamshire more healthy, prosperous and green.
The full plan is presented on a new dedicated website which will be kept up to date with progress against the plan’s goals. When selecting where to focus their activities, NCC looked at the major trends and issues affecting the County now and into the future, including the impact of COVID-19.
Whilst implementing the Plan, the Council has pledged to:
- Listen to communities
- Support independence
- Reduce inequalities
- Spend wisely
- Make decisions based on evidence
- Work together
- Lead with optimism.
Throughout the Nottinghamshire Plan you can see how what you told us in the Big Notts Survey has helped NCC set priorities for improving our communities and making a better future for us all.
