Did you know there are various groups that exist to encourage anyone interested in health services and health conditions to air their views?
Rushcliffe Patient Forums cover various health aspects, including diabetes and mental health. The Forums enable you to meet new people, share patient experiences and provide your views on current and future services. Both patients and carers can volunteer to join.
To find out more, contact Sue Knowles at Rushcliffe CVS on 0115 969 9060 or email sknowles@rushcliffecvs.org.uk.
Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) consist of volunteers who work in partnership with practice staff and GPs to have their say. They’re also active advocates for the services the practice provides. Ideally, a PPG is made up of a representative sample of the surgery’s patient base, i.e. young people, workers, retirees, people with long-term health conditions and so on.
For further details, contact Ruddington Medical Centre or Church House Surgery.
