The 63 bus to QMC provided quick, easy access to both QMC and the City Hospital (CHN) for patients, visitors and staff. Unfortunately public sector cuts resulted in the service being withdrawn in August. This means that you now need to get a bus into the city, then out again to either of the hospitals. This at least doubles the travelling time, and at peak times it is worse than that.
The tram route from Clifton will, when it is open, speed up the journey times but it means that you will have to change trams at the Midland Station to get to QMC, then pick up the Medi-Link there if you are heading to the CHN.
If the Medi-Link service were to be extended to the new Clifton Park and Ride then a quick, convenient service would be re-established for Ruddington and surrounding villages. Please sign the petition below
