Kids’ parties are great fun, but as anyone who’s ever organised one knows, they can take a lot of planning and organisation. If you’re just hosting a small group, or the weather is nice enough to go outside, you might think about holding the party at home. But if you have a larger number, this can start to become stressful. And this is where a party venue comes into its own.
Luckily, you don’t need to look to far from your own doorstep to find the perfect place. Ruddington now has plenty of venues to choose from, so depending on the numbers and the type of party you want you can keep your little ones and their friends entertained and occupied.
The Parish Council offers St Peter’s Rooms and the Village Hall, so you can bring in your own food and entertainment. Or our new soft play area, Dizzy Rascalz, is another great addition to the village’s party places, and the Framework Knitters Museum also has an area available for hire.
Our local schools and playgroups are also popular places, with St Peter’s Junior School offering its Basecamp out for hire, and the Hermitage also proving a great choice.
If you fancy hosting a children’s tea party, why not get in touch with The Old Bakehouse, for something a little different? Or our very own Country Park also has a room for hire in its idyllic setting.
If you’re looking for some entertainment, Little Wickets offers cricket parties at the Village Hall and St Peter’s Rooms, or Go Bake can entertain the kids with a cookery party (all you need is access to an oven and a sink). And if you do decide to stay at home, Elegant Pamper Parties can bring the party to you, offering their children’s version of their pamper parties.
So next time you’re thinking of where to hold your children’s party, why not think local?
