People are often concerned about planning applications, especially if they are near where they live. The decision on any application is made by Rushcliffe Borough Council. The Parish Council gets a chance to comment on them. They are considered at Parish Council meetings and comments are made to the Borough Council.
The Parish Council puts the applications it is to consider on the notice board at St. Peter’s Rooms with the agendas. They are also on the Parish Council website. However, the deadlines set by Government often mean there is not long between the Parish Council being told about them and the deadline for submitting comments.
