The Parish Council is urging residents to attend the opening of the the Public Inquiry into the appeal by Space Foods Ltd, relating to their application to build 175 dwellings on land north of Asher Lane.
The Inquiry will start on Tuesday 17th April at 10am and is expected to take around four days (note that residents are only being urged to support the opening). It will take place in the Rushcliffe Borough Council Chambers at Rushcliffe Arena in West Bridgford.
An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will attend to decide the appeal. At the Inspector’s discretion, members of the public will be able to express their views and time will be scheduled into the Inquiry to allow for this.
The Parish Council feels it’s important that the Inspector realises how great the opposition to this application is within Ruddington, so please support the opening of the Inquiry if you can.
Documents relating to the appeal can be viewed at Rushcliffe Arena by prior arrangement with the Borough Council, or at www.gov.uk/appeal-planning-inspectorate. The Planning Inspectorate Reference is APP/P3040/W/17/3185493.
