Want to enjoy and be inspired by some of the world’s greatest music? If so, come along to Ruddington & District Choral Society’s autumn concert – an evening of glorious and beautiful sacred choral music to enrich the soul.
The Choir, together with the Ruddington Chamber Ensemble and soloists from the University of Nottingham, will perform great works from the choral repertoire in their aptly-named “Laudate Dominum” (Praise the Lord) concert.
The concert, which will take place at St Peter’s Church in Ruddington on Saturday 24th November 24th from 7.30pm, will feature much-loved choral works by Mozart, Bach and Brahms.
These will be followed by the exquisite and hauntingly beautiful “Stabat Mater” by Rheinberger. The climax of the concert will be Schubert’s “Mass in G Major” – one of the very great works of choral music.
And it doesn’t end there! Supporting these choral gems will be well-known orchestral works by Mozart and Albinoni, performed by the Ruddington Chamber Ensemble.
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear some of the world’s greatest music performed by some of the best local singers and players. You can find more information about the concert and how to get tickets at www.ruddingtonchoral.com or by calling 0115 921 1451.
