Veolia Environmental Services, Nottinghamshire County Council and the Nottingham Hospitals Charity campaign have all joined forces to encourage householders to raise money for charity by recycling their Christmas trees. Veolia is offering the charity £100 for every 50 tonnes of Christmas trees they receive at Household Waste Centres up to the end of January 2013. Veolia are also reminding residents that their Household Waste Recycling Centres are open from 8am as usual, but close at 4pm at this time of year. They are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
