We’ve been notified by Via East Midlands, Nottinghamshire County Council’s contract partner for Highways, of current and forthcoming roadworks in and around Ruddington. These can be summarised as follows:
- High Street will be closed between its junctions with Church Street and Kirk Lane on Monday 21st June from 9am to 4pm. This is to install a new electricity supply. Traffic will be diverted to use Easthorpe Street, Loughborough Road and Kirk Lane, and vice versa.
- Parkyns Street will be closed outside numbers 1 to 17 on Monday 28th June from 8am to 4pm. This is also to install a new electricity supply. Traffic will be diverted to use High Street and Church Street, and vice versa.
- The multi-way signals currently in place on Asher Lane between the Top Road and Musters Road junctions are set to remain until Friday 11th The works are to widen the road in association with the new housing development on Asher Lane.
- There will be three-way traffic signals on Loughborough Road at the Mere Way roundabout until Friday 25th The signals are in operation from 9am to 4pm. This is to enable a toucan crossing to be installed and various other works to take place in relation to new housing.
