Ruddington’s 11th Beer Festival will be opening its doors to real ale enthusiasts at the end of May, with a four day event running from Thursday 30 May to Sunday 2 June. Like last year, RuddFest will be hosted by three of our seven pubs – The White Horse, The Red Heart and The Three Crowns. Between them, the trio hope to offer more than 100 beers and ciders, so there’s sure to be one that tempts your taste buds! A packed entertainment programme focuses on The White Horse this year, with the ever-popular Dolphin Morris Men kicking things off on Thursday night. Saturday evening will feature live music from White Horse regulars Basement, who’ll be playing a mixture of classic and modern tracks. And Northumbrian band We Steal Flyers will be appearing on Sunday from 4:30pm as part of their ‘Happy Everything’ tour, which will see the folk-inspired duo play 30 gigs around the UK in 30 days. You can soak up the beer with an open air barbeque at The White Horse, or sample an Indian dish from The Three Spices restaurant, located behind The Three Crowns. CAMRA members will receive a discount from all three pubs and takeaway containers will be available for you to enjoy your favourite ales and ciders at home.
