On Thursday 8th May, Ruddington residents joined representatives from Ruddington Parish Council and the Ruddington branch of the Royal British Legion to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
The Ruddington beacon was lit at 9:30pm, with a serenade from Ruddington Community Choir, who then led everyone in a rendition of “I Vow to Thee my Country.”
