Ruddington’s annual showcase of talented artists and designers returns this September, as Makers’ Night is back for 2023. Organised by the award winning Ruddington Village Market, Makers’ Night showcases over 70 high quality regional crafters and makers across multiple indoor and marquee venues around the village centre, bringing everything from fine art to exquisite jewellery.
The event takes place on Friday 15th September from 4pm until 9pm at the Framework Knitters’ Museum, St Peter’s Church, The Cottage Hotel and Ruddington Methodist Hall. This year, the event also extends to the village green to include a makers’ marquee, street food zone, bar and music.
Stella Dickie of the Ruddington Village Community Partnership (RVCP), the team behind Makers’ Night and Ruddington Village Market, said “Makers’ Night is one of our favourite events of the year, with so many talented artists, designers, makers and crafters coming along.
“The whole village comes alive, and many of Ruddington’s fabulous indie shops and cafes open late, joining in with their own pop-up stalls. It all adds to the brilliant atmosphere in the village on the night, with visitors staying to enjoy drinks at Ruddington’s bars and pubs.”
