Come and have a wander around the village and visit the open gardens, allotments and other attractions planned for the weekend of Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June, from 2pm to 6pm. All proceeds from this event will go to Save the Children and Action for Children.
Open Gardens programmes will be available in advance from Thomas James Estate Agents on the High Street from 9th June. These will cost £3 per adult (accompanied children are free). During the weekend itself, programmes will be on sale at Ruddington Co-op, any participating garden, the Methodist Church or the Framework Knitters’ Museum at £3.50 per adult.
There’ll be live music at the Methodist Church on both afternoons at 3.30pm and 4.30pm, and refreshments will be available in the Church Hall. An added attraction this year will be vintage bus rides around the village.
Why not join in the Great Get Together community picnic as well? It’s being held on the Green on Saturday 23rd June from 12.30pm to 3.30pm. There are also refreshments and music in St Peter’s Rooms between 2pm and 4pm. You could visit the gardens afterwards.
We have everything crossed for good weather and look forward to seeing you!
