The annual Ruddington Village Show is a highlight of the year. It’s fast approaching and we need YOU to showcase your skills and talents, be it with plants or flowers, vegetables, soft fruits, cakes, jam or photographs. There are lots of classes!
It’s great fun to enter items for our show, which is on Saturday 21st September in St Peter’s Rooms. Visitors will see your exhibits, after which they’ll be judged by experts. Entries don’t need to be perfect – the enjoyment is in submitting your items and seeing them on display. Children are especially encouraged to enter, with free prizes for all children that take part.
The staging of exhibits will take place from 8am to 9.30am on the day, with judging from 9.30am to 11am. Schedules and details of all the classes are available on the Ruddington Gardeners’ Association website at https://ruddingtongardeners.co.uk. Hard copies are available from St Peter’s Rooms, or by e-mailing mrdavey004@btinternet.com.
There’ll also be plant sales, stalls run by local groups, a giant raffle and home-made refreshments all day. Please keep this date free in your diary and join us for an enjoyable day supporting this important local event. Entry is free for everyone!
