The award-winning Ruddington Yarn Ninjas have been busy again to spread some love in the village.
Our Valentine’s Day themed display helps promote love, friendship and treating people with kindness. Thank you to all those people in our wonderful village who give back and make Ruddington a special place to live.
Friendship is at the heart of what the ninjas are about, as we come together with our love of all things yarn! The love we receive from people when they see our displays is really quite overwhelming. It’s great to be a part of something so special.
About us
We meet twice a month on Mondays and Fridays to work on our displays, and once a month at Ruddington Retirement Village for more of a social gathering where you can bring your own craft project, whether that is embroidery, paper craft, drawing or whatever your passion might be.
We’d love more members to join our growing group of ninjas, even if you can’t knit or crochet. There are lots of ways to get involved and we’d also be happy to teach you. Please email us at Ruddyarnninjas@gmail.com to find out more.
If crafting isn’t your thing, but you’d like to support us, we’re always looking for handy helpers to erect and dismantle our displays, help sew or glue things together or provide storage for our displays.
We welcome donations of yarn and craft materials, and you can also donate via our crowdfunding site here: http://surl.li/esmgs.
Finally, a massive thank you to Ruddington Parish Council, The Framework Knitters Museum and Ruddington Retirement Village for their ongoing support.
