Rushcliffe Business Partnership (RBP) is the home of a thriving local business scene with more than 500 individuals and organisations benefitting from membership. RBP’s regular business networking events include an informal coffee meeting at The Next Episode in Ruddington, held on the third Friday of each month.
The Partnership has a Steering Group made up of local business owners and representatives from the Borough Council. The Groups is responsible for helping to shape and deliver the work of the Partnership.
RBP is now looking for new members to sit on the Steering Group to help it grow and support even more businesses in the Borough.
The Partnership, launched in 1999, is a not-for-profit organisation part funded by Rushcliffe Borough Council. RBP’s key aims are to:
- Provide networks and relationships for business support, growth and opportunities
- Champion Rushcliffe as a place to do business
- Increase trade for Rushcliffe from inside and outside the borough
- Provide a coherent voice for business in Rushcliffe.
By extending the Steering Group membership, it’s hoped RBP will better reflect and represent the needs of businesses across the borough.
Building on the challenges and learning since the start of COVID-19, there’s an opportunity to review RBP and look at how we can develop it, particularly in relation to the impact of and the many lessons learnt during the pandemic.
This provides an exciting chance for some new ideas and a fresh perspective with new businesses getting involved in helping to shape the future of the Partnership, and deliver improved outcomes for our business community.
