Rushcliffe residents are being reminded to check out the Rushcliffe Primary Care Network website at www.rushcliffehealth.org/. It’s a local health and wellbeing hub where you’ll find local information events and support for an even healthier lifestyle.
The website is a one stop shop for the latest social prescribing events, updates from your GP practice, blogs from local health leaders, and a chance to shape local services and have your say on the future of health in Rushcliffe.
Developed with residents and patients in mind, you can locate all the information on local health support in a matter of seconds.
There are some great tools across the site, including a friendship calendar to locate new activities and meet new friends, and a handy self-help calendar to help you focus on a new health category each month.
It’s the perfect place to access The Big Green Book, a wonderful directory of health walks and social activities that’s updated every three months with the latest information on events that could make a significant impact on your mental and physical health.
There’s also a chance to find out about health screening services, take part in the Rushcliffe Autumn Wellbeing Challenge, and access links to more information on all NHS services.
Rushcliffe Patient Participation Groups Chair, Paul Midgley, said: “The rushcliffehealth website is your one stop shop for all the information you need to access local health services and find out about a host of brilliant events and groups that can make a positive impact on your health.
“Patients benefit hugely from being able to check out the wide range of updates, whether you’re looking for the latest social prescribing events, updates at your GP surgery, tools you can use at home to make healthy changes, or a chance to feed back on NHS services.”
