Ruddington Village Centre Partnership was pleased to welcome Lucy from In The Mix to her first Ruddington Market in August.
Lucy is the first participant of the Young Entrepreneurs Project, which is aiming to support young people aged 16 to 30 from Nottinghamshire to start and develop a business idea through providing coaching and mentoring in key areas and helping them run a stall over a 4 month period at the market.
Lucy got in touch with us back in May to tell us about her brilliant brownie-making venture, which she started in lockdown. She impressed us with her passion and determination, and we were thrilled to have her on board as our first participant for the project.
Lucy has received coaching and mentoring from our partners at Black Cat Accounting, WigWag and The Bottle Top covering topics including branding, business set-up, book-keeping, stock control, sustainability and social media. We’re super excited to see Lucy in her element at her first market on Saturday and you’ll be able to see her stall in September, October and November.
If this project is something you would like to be involved with in the future, please check out our website, Young Entrepreneurs Scheme Ruddington, at www.ruddingtonvillagemarket.co.uk. Our next applications close at the end of November.
