Great news! Santa and his sleigh, accompanied by his helpers, will be visiting Ruddington this Christmas on the evenings of Tuesdays 5th and 12th December. His sleigh will be on the move each day at 6pm.
No flying reindeer are available on the planned evenings, so Santa would be grateful if residents would take care when parking vehicles along the proposed routes (see below). It won’t be possible for the sleigh to move into roads where manoeuvring it will be difficult or dangerous.
- On Tuesday 5th December, the planned route starts at the Churchill Drive entrance off Clifton Road and includes the Churchill Drive Estate, Camelot Street, Woodhouse Gardens, Brookside, Clifford Road, St Mary’s Crescent, Packman Drive and Rufford Road.
- On Tuesday 12th December, the sleigh will start outside Ruddington Library and the planned route includes Distillery Street, Western Fields, Rainham Gardens, Musters Road, Barleylands, Moor Lane and Elms Park.
Although Santa hopes to keep to the plans set out, road closures, and/or poor or dangerous driving conditions may result in changes having to be made.
If you’d like to support our charity work, please put aside some cash as our volunteer collectors cannot accept card payments.
And if you’d like to join our band of volunteer helpers, please contact Bob Child at firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
Thank you from Santa and the Rotary Club of Rushcliffe!
