A horde of Santas is set to descend on Rushcliffe Country Park on Sunday 14 December when the ‘Santa on the Run’ event comes to Ruddington. Held to raise funds for Rainbows Hospice in Loughborough, the fun run is a great way to spend time with family and friends whilst raising money for a good cause.
The event is suitable for all ages and you can walk, jog or run your choice of the 2.5km and 5km circular routes around the Country Park. The only condition is that you wear the Santa Claus outfit that’s included in the registration fee! Runners are also encouraged to try and raise at least £20 in sponsorship to help Rainbows keep supporting children living with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Santa on the Run starts at 11am after a festive warm up to get everyone in the mood. Each runner will receive a medal and goody bag after completing the course. Ticket prices start from just £8 for children and you can opt to have your Santa suit posted in advance or collect it on the day.
