“On Sunday 18th March I am leading a walk round the nature reserve to look at the spring wildflowers. Whilst not the most abundant time for them it is an opportunity to see the sorts of flowers that are ONLY seen in the early spring time. Hopefully there will also be birds about singing for mates and building nests. And if nothing else it will be a lovely stroll in the spring time sun (fingers crossed) !!!!”
Meet 2pm at the road entrance on B680 between Wilford Village and Ruddington (on right after the ring road bridge). Gordon Dyne (0115 8784842). If you want to see the summer wildflowers, why not come along to the Reserve Open Day on Sunday 3rd June. (Picture shows sweet violets)
