The annual Sunday Funday is returning to Rushcliffe Country Park on Sunday 10 September from 12-5pm.
Run by Rushcliffe Borough Council and its partners in health, NHS Rushcliffe Clinical Commissioning Group, the event aims to promote healthier lifestyles.
You can take part in some fun sports and physical activities, sample some tasty, healthy treats from local growers and makers, get a mini health check and find out more about staying healthy – including drinking less and quitting smoking. A local market area will showcase local businesses selling a variety of products.
The event also features lots of free family entertainment, plus you can enjoy the usual amenities at the park, such as the sensory garden and walking trails.
Sunday Funday is free to attend, with just a £1 charge for parking in the Field of Hope, off Asher Lane. For more information, email arts@rushcliffe.gov.uk, call 0115 981 9911 or visit the Sunday Funday Facebook page.
