Due to supply issues with a manufacturer, the Government recently announced a national shortage of Covid-19 vaccines would take effect from 29th March. Priority will be given in April to people due to receive their second dose of the vaccine, but Nottinghamshire is still on track to provide a first jab to everyone aged over 50 by mid-month.
Unfortunately, it looks like there will be delays in offering first vaccinations to the under 50s, with the shortage expected to last around 4 weeks. Residents in the 40-49 age group will be next on the list after the over 50s. Please wait to receive your invitation letter or text message before trying to book an appointment.
