Do you shop at the Co-op? Have you heard of the Co-op Local Community Fund?
The Friends of Rushcliffe Country Park (FoRCP) have been chosen as one of the charities to receive funding from the Co-op for our latest project.
This will involve creating an audio/visual display recounting memories of local residents who were interviewed as part of our well-known book, “Bombs to Butterflies” (see separate article if you’d like to get involved). When complete, the display will be available on a loop system 7 days a week in the foyer of the Visitors’ Centre at the Country Park.
If you’re a member of The Co-op and shop locally, please consider choosing our project as the cause for 1% of money you spend to go towards.
