In aid of Save the Children
Following on from the success of our two previous events in 2021 and 2023, we’re delighted to announce that we’ll be holding another Teddy Bear Parachute Jump at St Peter’s Church on Saturday 13th September from 10:30am to 1pm.
Children (and adults!) are invited to make a parachute for a teddy or other soft toy from any materials you wish – fabric, paper, plastic etc – and bring them along on the day to attempt this daredevil feat.
All toys brave enough to jump will receive a certificate and there’ll be prizes for the best parachute. It’ll cost £2 to register for a first jump and £1 for any subsequent jumps.
As well as parachuting toys, there’ll be stalls selling cakes and biscuits, a tombola and the chance to have a go on a Lucky Bag game. All proceeds will go to Save the Children.
