CHRISTMAS TREES IN THE VILLAGE
We are delighted that Ruddington has its festive lighting going up throughout the village. The Parish Council has put up more than 70 trees this year, all with modern, efficient LED lights. Thanks also go to the local businesses who make a donation towards the cost of the tree itself. The Parish Council has also decorated a tree in St. Peter’s Churchyard which had its official “Big Switch-On” on Wednesday 5th December at 6pm. St. Peter’s Church organised carols around the tree followed by ‘Mulled wine’ and mince pies. Everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed the event.
