Turn off the news and forget Brexit! It’s time for us to celebrate all that we have in common. Plans are in motion for another Ruddington “Great Get Together” on Saturday 22nd June, so put the date in your diary.
Like last year, we’ll be having a family picnic on The Green from 12 noon until 2.30pm, and there’ll be a tea party for older residents at St Peter’s Rooms from 2pm until 4pm. More details of both events will follow in the next edition of The Rudd.
If you’d like to help out at the Tea Party or donate a cake, please contact Jill Reedman at jillreedman.rpc@gmail.com. Alternatively, if you’d like to provide an activity on The Green, please contact Paul Reedman at paulreedman.ruddingtonpc@gmail.com. In either case, you can also contact the Parish Council Office on 0115 914 6660.
Please check out the Ruddington Parish Council Events page on Facebook for pictures of last year’s event and for details of forthcoming activities.
