Everyone is invited to join the Ruddington Parish Council Events team and the Ruddington & District Branch of the Royal British Legion in commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day on Thursday 8th May. We ask you to join us from 9pm in good time before we light the beacon at 9:30pm.
Ruddington Community Choir will serenade you as you wait, before leading us all in a rendition of ‘I vow thee to my country’ as the beacon is lit, whilst we join villages and towns up and down the country as they do the same.
