Residents of Ruddington again rose to the occasion by supporting the Village Show on Saturday 14th September 2019.
Hosted by Ruddington Gardeners’ Association (RGA), the show attracted a record number of 263 entries from 60 exhibitors, with vegetables, flowers, fruit and home produce filling the tables in St Peter’s Rooms. The judges were impressed by the excellent quality of the exhibits.
Sales of goods by Nottingham Country Markets, a local Master Beekeeper and RGA members; a display of local crafts; and a “hands on” demonstration by the U3A Art Group made for a wide range of interesting activities. Everyone was kept “fed and watered” throughout the day with refreshments served by Ruddington WI.
Many thanks to all of you who contributed to another very successful village event – without your participation there wouldn’t have been a show.
If you were unable to enter or visit the show this year, please along come next year! We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday 19th September 2020 – more details later.
