Rushcliffe Community & Voluntary Service are calling for more volunteers to help older and vulnerable people to maintain their independence, to support people with loneliness or who have difficulty getting out and about.
Times have been really tough with the pandemic and all its impacts. There is a growing need for our Transport, Befriending and Housekeeping services. We are here for local people designing services that deliver on their individual needs – whether that’s practical help or simply offering a friendly face.
If you can spare two hours a week, call us on 0115 969 9060 or email email@example.com.
Being a volunteer will build your confidence and self-esteem, give you new skills, provide valuable work experience and boost your career options. It will also help improve your health and wellbeing and introduce you to new people and experiences.
Volunteers are the backbone of our Befriending and Transport services, and we could not operate without them.
If you’re looking to make a difference in your local community and are caring, we’d love to hear from you!
