On Saturday 22 July, between 2pm and 4pm, Ruddington Women’s Institute will be holding our annual Garden Day at 200 Loughborough Road in Ruddington: the home of Linda and Mike Davey.
Visitors can relax in the beautiful mature garden of approximately half an acre, with its wildlife pond and interesting collection of cacti and summerhouse plants, before browsing a range of stalls. These will include a bottle stall, cakes and preserves, books and puzzles, crafts including hand-made cards and boxes, and a tombola and raffle.
The entrance fee of £4 includes a delicious home-made scone with strawberries and fresh cream, together with unlimited tea or coffee in our pop-up cafe. All proceeds from this event will go to our chosen charity: Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance. Tickets are available on the gate or in advance from our President, Mrs Ivy Wilshire, on 0115 984 4429. Please come and support this worthwhile cause whilst spending an enjoyable afternoon in beautiful surroundings.
