This year is the centenary of the start of the Great War and, along with the country, the Royal British Legion and the residents of Ruddington, Ruddington Parish Council wishes to honour the fallen of this village in all wars whose names are recorded on the refurbished war memorial.
In order to mark the centenary the Parish Council has installed a memorial garden in the shape of 3 raised flower beds:
