In our village we are fortunate to have school provison for 3-11 year olds but for secondary education young people have to travel out of the village. They go to various schools, including Rushcliffe School.
Rushcliffe School has recently joined a group of only 26 schools UK state schools that have been awarded the World Class Schools Quality Mark (WCSQM).
They have added this to their Outstanding Ofsted ranking. The Head, Steve Lewis stated “We’ve demonstrated that our school offers not just academic excellence but a truly character building, life affirming experience”
This is great news for the education of the young people of our village who cuurently attend Rushcliffe and those who will in the future. Congratulations are extended to all the staff and pupils.
