Members of the Ruddington Women’s Institute are busy knitting “hats” in various colours and designs to support the Age UK “BIG KNIT” Campaign.
Later in the year, their creations will be put on the top of Innocent Smoothie bottles and sold in stores across the UK.
For each hat knitted, 25p is donated to Age UK to make winter warmer for older people. The charity is hoping to get donations of 650,000 hats – so keep up the good work ladies!
