2015 25th April Battle of Galipoli
2016 31st May Battle of Jutland
1st July Battle of the Somme
2017 June to Nov Battle of Passchendaele (3rd Battle of Ypres)

Here in Ruddington a Service of Remembrance and Reflection will be held on Sunday 3rd August at 6.30pm in St Peters Church. After the Church Service everyone will be invited to assemble at the War Memorial when we will have the opportunity to pray for peace, reflect upon war and remember the sacrifice made for our freedom. If you wish, take a candle as you leave church and place it on the War Memorial and reflect on your personal memories.
Your help is needed in remembering all those who served in WW1. Do you have any untold stories, events or memories of family members when they returned home injured or disabled? Do you have any photographs, letters, post cards or newspaper cuttings? How was your family affected during WW1 in Ruddington? If you have any memories you would like to share as part of the Church Service or for more details please contact the people named below by Sunday 20th July.
Your support in helping us with this event will be very much appreciated.
We Will Remember Them.
