Mrs Yvonne Lishman is the new Parish Councillor for Camelot Ward. Says Yvonne: “I’ve lived in Ruddington for 30 years with my husband Mike. I began working life as a Medical Photographer before becoming a primary school teacher in 1994. In 2006 I returned to photography and set up my own business as a photographer, which I continue to enjoy to date.
“I care about the environment and social equality, and would love to see Ruddington becoming the close-knit community it was of old, by inviting the newer and longer established residents of the village to come together in community projects.
“I would like to see a Neighbourhood Plan implemented so that the residents have more of a say in the continued development of local infrastructure. I would also like to see a resumption of youth services in the village.”
